EVENT: From the exhibition New Creators Met Together in Europe
東京ミッドタウン内21_21 DESIGN SIGHTにて開催中のヨーロッパで出会った新人たち展。
今日は連日多くの来場者で賑わうその模様の一部をお届けします。
タイトルが示す通り、ヨーロッパでファッションやアートを学び、コンペやイベントを通して出会ったファッションデザイナー6組11名が世界へと自らの創造を発信をすべく東京に集結して開催されているのがこの展示。
会場はメインのインスタレーションが設置されたスペース、そしてコレクションのイメージと共同作品ピースからなるスペースの2セクションに分かれており、メインスペースでは６つの白いボックス型のブースに各々のブランド／デザイナーのコレクションのテーマ映像が投影され、その中に衣服が展示されているという構成となっています。
As the exhibition title suggests, this particular event features 11 fashion designers from 6 different brands, who studied in Europe and met each other at fashion competitions and events. They came together to transmit their creations from Tokyo.
The exhibition is being held in two different spaces within the museum. The main room contains 6 booths, one for each brand.
Film images of each brand's exhbition collection are projected onto the outside of each cube-like booth, with the actual garments on display inside.

白で統一された衣服と空間。明暗で浮かび上がる繊細なディテールが美しい。
The collection and exhibition space are all in white, and the resulting light and shadows enhance the delicate details of the garments.
MIKIOSAKABE (坂部 三樹郎 / Shueh Jen-Fang)
等身大の人形風マネキンが回転し続ける姿はどこかフューチャリスティック。
Rotating Barbie-doll like mannequins, creating a somewhat futuristic feel.
HUI-HUI (Anne Schwatzler/Katharine Trudzinski/Johanna Trudzinski)
女性3人からなるHUI-HUI（フイウイ）の展示はひときわカラフル、そして元気さがあふれる。
The collection from the three girls' collective is the most colourful and energetic of all!
STEREOTYPES (Helena Lumelsky/Demna Gvasalia)
ブースの外側に映し出されるのは手術風パフォーマンス。中にはまさにその手術台とマネキン、そして周囲を取り巻くようにロッカーが配置されている。来場者がロッカーをあけると中にはひとつひとつテーマにそった衣服等が入っており、サウンドが流れているという仕組み。
The projected film is of a medical operation-like performance. The inside of the booth is like an operating theatre, surrounded by lockers!
Each locker is filled with garments, accessories and sounds on a particular theme, and visitors will have to open them to see what's inside!

TARO HORIUCHI (堀内太郎)
樹木に掛けられた衣服とアクセサリー。砂で覆われたフロア。パターンを描くようにちりばめられたガラス状の物質。その不思議な質感の重なりが、コレクションの世界観をより一層強めている。
The garments and accessories are displayed on a tree. The floor is covered with sand, on top of which is a pattern made by glass-like objects. The poetic and surreal mixture of each different texture successfully emphasises the theme of the collection.
POESIE (AKIRA NAKA)
ブースの外側に映し出される花。そしてブースの中にもフレームを通して見るように配置された花のオブジェが。
It's full of flowers – both inside and out.
