自宅やオフィス空間を楽しく変えてみたいけれど、どうしたらよいのかわからない。

Atmosphere03でも紹介したBB/SaundersのHamishから、BB/Sandersの「journal1 365 pages」が送られてきた。封をあけると、中には一冊の本のようなノートのような。表紙や中ページなどはすべてがBB/Saundersのヴィジュアルカラーでもある蛍光レッド一色で印刷されていて、365ページに及んで、デザインされた罫線やヴィジュアルなどが印刷されている。ビニールコーティングされた表紙(表紙の内側だけは４色＋１色）と、中ページの特色一色で刷られた様々な罫線のデザイン、そして持ったときの質感などがとても気持ちよく、ノートというよりは一冊の本のよう。
それぞれのページにはそのページ数に因んだメッセージが小さな文字で入っていて、そちらを読んでみるのも面白い。もちろんダイアリーとしても使ってもいいだろうし、ノートとしても自由に使ってもいいのだろうけど、書くのが少しもったいないような気がするクオリティある一冊。http://www.blanka.co.uk/で入手することが可能。

‘Journal 1 365 pages’ from BB/Saunders’ Hamish – interviewed in our Atmosphere 03 – has arrived.
‘Journal 1 365 pages’ is a notebook, the cover and pages of which are printed in BB/Saunders trademark fluorescent red.
The texture and the design are striking, making this publication more than a mere jotter. The notebook is protected by a clear PVC dust jacket (the inner end pages are in 4 colour plus 1 spot colour), and the various lines inside are printed in one spot colour. Each page has some text associated with its page number. You can use it for whatever purpose you choose, be it a diary or a notebook, but the very quality of it makes me feel I just want to keep it as it is.
