長らくお待たせしました。GAS BOOKの最新号「GAS BOOK 24 HIDEKI INABA “〜NEWLINE”」が12月8日に発売されます！日本の新世代を代表するグラフィックデザイナー/アーティスト、稲葉英樹の初作品集となる本書は、これまで20冊以上出し続けてきたGAS BOOKのフォーマット（構成、版形、ページ数…etc）を全て一新した記念すべきリニューアル第一号になります。リニューアルのデザインを手掛けたのは、2002年に当初のフォーマットを作った稲葉英樹自身。つまり、自分で作ったフォーマットを一旦壊してまた再構築する、という試みなのです。ページ数もこれまでの2倍となり、稲葉英樹のこれまでの作品を一堂に集めた貴重な資料ともなります。

The long anticipated release of the latest GAS BOOK, GAS BOOK 24 HIDEKI INABA “~NEWLINE” will be on sale from December 8th (in Japan)! This will be the first book by Japan’s leading new generation graphic designer / artist Hideki Inaba and will be the memorable release of the GAS BOOK series, as everything will be renewed to a new format (composition, shape, page numbers, etc…). The new format was created by Hideki Inaba who created the original format in 2002. In other words, this is an attempt by the artist to destory the old format once created by himself and to re-construct it. With double the number of pages, this book will serve as an important resource as well containing all of Hideki Inaba’s past works.

11月10日「ユニクロ　ソーホーニューヨーク店」が、ついにオープンしました。
1000坪もあるという大型旗艦店で、オープン最大の目玉商品はエントランス部分に陳列されているJapanese Pop Culture Project Tシャツ。GAS AS I/Fも今回の企画に一部携わり、GASと関わりのある全13組の日本人アーティストに参加して頂きました。
参加アーティスト： Adapter、POWER GRAPHIXX、エンライトメント、タナカカツキ、井口弘史、稲葉英樹、黒川知希、点/ten_do_ten、五木田智央、田名網敬一、黒田潔、KYOTARO、enamel. (順不同、敬称略)
オープン前日のオープニングパーティーでは、田中知之氏がDJを披露し、ニューヨークで活躍する森本シェフが美味しい料理を振舞うなど、贅をこらした盛大なお披露目となりました。
10日のグランドオープン時には地元メディアが集結し、開店前から地元の人が行列する程の話題ぶりでした。日本人アーティストがデザインしたTシャツは、地元ニューヨーカーにも大人気で5枚、6枚とまとめ買いするお客さんが沢山いました。ぜひニューヨークへ行かれる際は、ユニクロの最新Tシャツを見にお店へ行ってみてください。

The long awaited UNIQLO SOHO NY Shop finally opened on November 10th.
In the massive 1000㎡ flagship store, the biggest eye catcher product for the opening was the Japanese Pop Culture Project T-shirts displayed at the entrance. Gas As I/F joined this project and had 13 artists with relation with Gas to participate.
Participating artists: Adapter, POWER GRAPHIXX, Enlightenment, Katsuki Tanaka, Hiroshi Iguchi, Hideki Inaba, Tomoki Kurokawa, ten_do_ten, Tomoo Gokita, Keiichi Tanaami, KYOTARO, enamel.
The opening party turned out to be a fantastic unveiling ceremony with Tomoyuki Tanaka as the DJ and beautiful food by the popular Chef Morimoto.
The local media all gathered at the grand opening on the 10th and people lined up before the opening. The T-shirts designed by Japanese artists were very popular with the New Yorkers and many bought 5-6 T-shirts at once.
