イギリスのデザインチームFormが最近の仕事として、二つのCIを手がけたそうです。
FormはPaul WestとPaula Bensonにより設立され、90年代初頭から主に音楽方面にて活躍し、Depeche ModeやEverything But The Girlなどのビジュアルも手がけてきました。最近ではクライアントの幅も広がり、企業のブランディングやCI、ロゴの作成からウェブサイトまで手がけています。様々なジャンルで長年に渡りコンスタントに定評のあるデザインを作り続けているデザインチームです。

English design team, Form has recently completed two CIs. Form was established by Paul West and Paula Benson and have been active in the music field since the early 90’s, working on visual designs for such artists as Depeche Mode and Everything But The Girl. Their range of client has broadened lately, working on company branding and CI to logo design and web site creations. They are a design team with established reputation creating in various genres over many years.

ポーターでおなじみの吉田カバンの新ライン「YOSHIDA」とGASのオススメアーティストとのコラボレーショントートバッグに新たなデザインが登場しました。
サイズは、肩掛け可能なサイズと手持ちの小さなサイズの2型です。
参加アーティストは、前回に引き続き2匹のキュートな犬「Cap+Pep」が大人気のKuntzel+Deygas、不思議な新キャラクターを制作してくれたGenevieve Gauckler、今夏のコレットでの個展も大盛況だったSophie Toporkoffの3組です。只今、伊勢丹新宿店本館２階のザ・メッセージ内にある「TAGLINE」及び仙台のTRAVELING GAS SHOP（こちらはSophie Toporkoffのみ）にて販売中です。
10月16日よりGAS online shopでも販売開始予定です。

A new design from collaboration tote bag collection by Yoshida Kaban’s new line YOSHIDA and GAS’s recommended artists is now out. It comes in two sizes; shoulder-hang size and hand bag size. Participating artists are Kuntzel+Deygas with their super popular dogs Cap+Pep from the last series, Genevieve Gauckler who created a new and curios character and Sophie Toporkoff who just completed a very successful exhibition at Collette this Summer. You can buy the bags at TAGLINE located on the 2nd floor of Isetan Shinjuku, or at the TRAVELING GAS SHOP (only Sophie Toporkoff design) in Sendai. You will be able to buy them from GAS online shop starting October 16th as well.

Atmosphere03でも紹介しているアムステルダム在住のアートディレクター、Jop van Bennekom が発行人、編集人、アートディレクションを手掛けている雑誌「FANTASTIC MAN」はいま最も注目されている雑誌である。個人的には世界で一番クールなファッション雑誌だと思っている。レイアウトや編集内容などデザイナーばかりではなく、ファッション関係者などの業界の人たちから人気が高いのもうなずける。彼のショートインタビューは「STUDIO VOICE MAN」やVIER5が編集している「FT」最新号などで読むことができるので気になる人は読んでみてほしい。彼は同時にゲイマガジン「BUTT」の編集やアートディレクションもやっているが、こちらはすでに17号まで発行されている。法律的な問題で日本では入手することができないようだけど、海外に行く機会がある人は本屋でぜひチェックしてみたらどうだろうか。THE DOVER STREET MARKETにはロンドン、東京店でもコラボレーションTシャツとして「BUTT」とピンクでプリントされたティーシャツを見かけたが、ノーマルな人にはなかなか着にくいかもしれない。でもとてもかっこいい一枚だ。(蜂賀亨）

FANTASTIC MAN, the magazine published, edited and art directed by Amsterdam art director Jop van Bennekom who was also introduced in Atmosphere03, is a magazine getting all the attraction. I personally think it is the coolest fashion magazine in the world. It’s understandable that the magazine is so popular not only to layout and editorial designers but to fashion people as well. You can read Bennokom’s short interview in STUDIO VOICE MAN and in FT edited by VIER5, so if you’re curios, take a look. He is also the editor and the art director of the gay magazine BUTT, which already has 17 issues published. Apparently we can’t get it here in Japan because of law restrictions, but if you have a chance to go overseas, you should check it out. I saw a T-shirt with BUTT printed in pink as a collaboration T-shirt with the DOVER STREET MARKET in London and Tokyo. It was a very nice T-shirt, but maybe a bit difficult to wear for normal people.. (Toru Hachiga)

マイク・ミルズの初長編映画監督作品「サムサッカー」が23日から日本で公開される。現在も様々なイベントが渋谷パルコなどで開催されているようですが、公開にあわせてx-girlでは写真展や、Tシャツやポスターなどのコラボアイテムが発売されます。マイク・ミルズは映画監督になってからスーツ姿が多くなったらしいとのことです。写真はDistributed Art Pub Inc (Dap)から出版されたヴィジュアルブック

Thumbsucker, the first feature film by Mike Mills will start playing in Japan from September 23rd. Many events at places like Shibuya Parco is taking place for the film, and at x-girl you will be able to see a photo exhibitions of the film and buy posters and collaboration items. Apparently, Mike Mills looks good in suits since he became a film director.
